PURPOSE Provide leadership and project management for marketing-related technology initiatives, including the redesign and launch of a the Firm’s website and the InterAction CRM database. Serve as principal driver for technology initiatives that enhance the Firm’s business development efforts and management of marketing activities. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES A. Serve as the principal liaison between marketing and technology departments for such things as patch/release management, development of end user support procedures, application performance monitoring and reporting. B. Work collaboratively with the Contact Information Specialists and Supervisor to maintain integrity of the CRM database on an ongoing basis and develop policies and procedures for data stewardship. C. Together with marketing staff and lawyers, develop plans for maximizing the marketing usage of InterAction and provide training to lawyers and other staff on InterAction as a marketing tool. D. Provide leadership and project management for the selection of a web vendor, the design and launch of a new Faegre & Benson external web site, www.faegre.com. This will require interfacing with many people in the firm during the needs analysis phase. Seek for continuous improvement in the website after launch. E. Work with internal technology staff in the various technology departments, and with lawyers and group heads, to drive new applications of extranet technology and to recommend new applications of intranet technology in support of business development initiatives. F. Work with marketing staff and technology departments on development of new technology initiatives to enhance department operations. G. Post material on www.faegre.com as needed and oversee electronic communications with our key constituencies. JOB REQUIREMENTS 1. Minimum five years website, database and project management experience, with knowledge of the legal or professional services environment and InterAction or other CRM software highly preferred. 2. Bachelor’s degree required. 3. Energetic and entrepreneurial. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple “bosses” and minimal supervision. 4. Strong innovative management and leadership skills. 5. Strong analytical skills, reasoning skills, judgment and decision making abilities. 6.
